Make sure you’re counted in the 2020 Census.

The Census isn’t cancelled. Now, more than ever, it is important to make sure your voice is heard and that you are counted. Take the Census in just a few minutes; this year for the first time you can fill it out online, or if you prefer, you can still fill it out on paper (if you received a letter in the mail).

The U.S. Census is conducted every 10 years to collect data on the country’s residents. The results help shape the resources that are provided to the community, such as Medicaid, as well as programs that aid low-income households, rural communities and communities of color.

April 1, 2020 is National Census Day. In support of communities using their voices and power, the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, and our partner foundations F. R. Bigelow Foundation and Mardag Foundation, have granted $365,000 to nonprofits educating and engaging communities around the Census.
